Shem’s dancing adventure began at the age of 7, when he asked his parents to sign him up for ballroom and latin dance classes at his school in Ilawa, Poland. Quite quickly, he realised that this was to be his passion and profession in life and so, set about making his dream a reality. At the age of 15, he got invited to the Polish Ballroom Formation Team and became part of the National Team with whom, he won several Polish Ballroom Formation Championships as well as the World Ballroom Formations Vice-Champion in 2005. When he was 19, he decided to take his dancing further and moved to Norway, where he successfully won a multitude of national competitions.
