Richard Voogt is the Director and Principal dancer of Dsantos Dance UK, an African and Latin Dance Co based in London UK, hosting regular weekly classes and events. Dsantos Dance UK forms part of a global dance organisation, created and directed by world famous dancer and choreographer Manuel Dos Santos. Richard has studied and taught under the direct guidance of Manuel for the past 5 years and performs with his dance team all over the world.
Richard has had the privelage and joy of performing and teaching at such events as The Los Angeles Salsa Festival, Criola Beach Festival, Montreal Salsa Convention, Madrid Sensual Dance symposium and the Aventura Dance cruise to name a few.
Richard is keen to engage the full spectrum of the community in dance for the joy it emparts as well as the wider effect it has on community development, health and cultural awareness. From Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha and Merengue to Kizomba, Semba, Kuduro and Afrohouse we love it all and are excited to share it with you, our community!
